I purchased 5 boxes of the Mhorgoth's Revenge starter set for around $150 or so. That was a pretty sweet deal, as each box came with 110 miniatures + 2 war machines and crew. I also picked up the command boxes of heroes for each army in the starter set.
It amounts to 350 miniatures worth about 2500 points of Undead, and 229 models worth about 2500 pts of Dwarves.
I like the miniatures, especially the undead. The quality is better than GW's lord of the rings range at least.
I like what Mantic is doing; big armies for a fair price. I am disgusted by the prices of GW. Lord of the Rings used to be the only reasonable range they had, and GW ruined that too.
I'm liking the look of the orcs now.
